At Hidden Trails Therapy, I believe healing isn’t just about what we think, it’s also about how we feel and move in our bodies. Starting January 2026, I’m excited to offer a powerful new somatic modality to support your nervous system and help release deeply held stress: Neurogenic Yoga® combined with Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®).
While talk therapy helps us understand our stories, sometimes our bodies still carry the echo of old stress; clenched muscles, racing hearts, or that familiar “on edge” feeling. Neurogenic Yoga® + TRE® offers a gentle way to unwind this stored tension by activating your body’s natural tremor response in a safe and supported environment.
These tremors are your nervous system’s built-in release valve. They help reset overactive stress responses, calm the vagus nerve, and restore balance from the inside out. Over time, this process can lower anxiety, ease chronic muscle tension, and create a greater sense of groundedness and resilience.
Early research and clinical use show that combining tremor release with yoga-based movement can improve sleep, lower cortisol, and reduce symptoms of trauma and burnout, all by helping the body feel safe enough to let go.
At Hidden Trails Therapy, I’ll be integrating this work to help your body feel grounded and open for deeper healing. It’s not about pushing or performing, it’s about giving your nervous system space to soften.
