What to Expect

During this 2-day immersive workshop, you will:

  • Create your own Tree of Life through guided reflection and drawing

  • Explore themes of resilience, identity, and meaning

  • Reflect on strengths, hopes, and sources of support

  • Engage in optional sharing in a safe, supportive group space

  • Connect with others who understand the realities of chronic illness

No artistic experience is required. This is a therapeutic, not artistic, process.

Who This Is For

This workshop is designed for adults who:

  • Are living with chronic illness or chronic pain

  • Feel disconnected from their sense of identity or purpose

  • Long for a supportive space to reflect and be understood

  • Want to explore meaning and resilience in a gentle, guided way

  • Are open to creative reflection (no art experience needed)

All genders welcome.

Jordan Baughman, LPC

Jordan is a licensed professional counselor with lived and clinical experience supporting individuals navigating chronic illness and chronic pain. She is passionate about creating therapeutic spaces rooted in connection, meaning-making, and resilience.

Workshop Details

Format: Live Virtual Workshop (Zoom)
Dates: Friday & Saturday
Time: 2:00pm – 6:00pm (both days)
Total Experience: 8 hours

Group Size: Limited to 4–6 participants to ensure safety and depth.

  • Yes. Many participants join as an adjunct to individual therapy.
    If desired, we’re happy to coordinate care with your therapist with a signed release.

  • We intentionally keep groups small to create:

    • A sense of emotional safety

    • Meaningful connection

    • Space for reflection

    • A more personal experience

    Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly.

    • Paper (larger paper recommended)

    • Simple drawing materials (markers, colored pencils, or pens)

    • A quiet, private space to reflect

    No art experience required.

  • This workshop is reflective and strengths-based rather than intensive trauma processing. You’ll be guided with care and invited to participate at your own comfort level throughout the experience.
