Support for the emotional side of becoming, being, or hoping to be a parent.
You do not have to feel only one way about this season.
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, fertility, and loss can bring anxiety, grief, anger, tenderness, and change. Hidden Trails offers room for your actual experience.
There is room for what you are experiencing.
Does this sound familiar?
01 /
Worry takes up more space
You find yourself anticipating what could go wrong or struggling to settle.
02 /
The birth story stays with you
A difficult or unexpected experience continues to affect how you feel.
03 /
You feel unlike yourself
Mood, identity, relationships, or your connection with your body have shifted.
04 /
You are holding too much
Sleep loss, feeding stress, caregiving, or invisible labor leaves little room for your needs.
You don’t have to wait until it feels unmanageable.
Maybe you’ve been telling yourself this is just part of pregnancy or becoming a parent. Yet something feels harder than you expected, and you would like a place to talk about it honestly.
You can begin therapy with a question, a feeling, or simply the sense that you need more support. We’ll start with what matters to you now.
The Hidden Trails approach
Care shaped around your season.
We can support immediate coping and explore relational, trauma, and body-based patterns when useful. Your therapist will collaborate with you on pace and priorities.
Care may include talk, somatic, parts-oriented, mindfulness, or trauma-focused approaches according to clinician training and fit. Therapy can coordinate with medical care with your written permission.
A Closer Look
There is room for the whole story
Perinatal mental health includes pregnancy and the period after birth, but your concern may also involve fertility, loss, or the path to parenthood. Therapy can begin with what feels most urgent without expecting you to feel grateful, joyful, or certain all the time.
How care can help
What we can support?
Pregnancy and postpartum anxiety or depression, birth experiences, reproductive grief, adjustment to parenting, feeding stress, changing partnership, and identity shifts.

-
Yes. We offer trauma-informed couples therapy when it is appropriate for both partners. We begin with a screening process to understand what you’re seeking support with and whether couples work is a suitable next step. If another type of support would be a better fit, we’ll discuss that with you.
-
Lets chat about it! Some clients benefit from ongoing therapy, while others may want to discuss Brainspotting or an EMDR Intensive for a defined concern. Your clinician will consider your current circumstances, goals, and readiness with you before recommending a particular approach or format.
